Biography
Hasan Jaffal is the head of the project management office at ArabiaGIS, he has years of experience in managing software development projects and providing consultancy in software architecture.
Certified PMP Project Manager and certified Scrum Master, with expertise in software projects life cycles, agile development, planning, executing, controlling and closing projects, delivering business value and delighting stakeholders. Hasan has an excellent understanding of software practices and a long experience in assimilating new technologies. During his rich career path Hasan has mentoring project managers from different levels.
Hasan has worked in several countries including Africa, the Gulf and the Middle East and has managed international software projects in the cadaster, urban planning, elections, tourism and other markets.
Description
Scrum is one of the leading agile software development processes. Over 12,000 project managers have become certified to run Scrum projects . Since its origin on Japanese new product development projects in the 1980s, Scrum has become recognized as one of the best project management frameworks for handling rapidly changing or evolving projects. Especially useful on projects with lots of technology or requirements uncertainty, Scrum is a proven, scalable agile process for managing software projects.
The Scrum lecture is designed to increase the overall understanding of Agile practices across an entire organization, and helps to link the business owners to the technical teams delivering software that improve business performance.
